Our Story
| Founded in the smallest City in England, Wells, Somerset in 1959. Originally trading as Marshalls of Wells, we rebranded to 'Amiska' when we moved online. Marshalls original products were Black and White TV sets, of which we sold tens of thousands until the advent of the colour TV. |

In the mid sixties we expanded into electrical items of all descriptions which we sold from our large warehouse and showrooms in Wells City Centre. By the 1980's, we had expanded into many different areas of retail. In our long history we have sold items from fridges and freezers to oriental rugs. From old pine furniture to washing machines. From Thai kimonos to antique furniture. From vacuum cleaners to designer jeans. Its probably no exaggeration to say that if you live in the Wells area then your house will almost certainly have a product in it bought from us at sometime during our long history. After all, we have been in business longer than Coronation Street... |
