The Roman Senator Tiberius Gracchus. Born approx 165 BC A marble bust.

The bust is inscribed, `Geracchi Faciera`

Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus, born around 163 BC and died in 133 BC, was a prominent Roman politician who is renowned for implementing an agrarian reform law.

This law involved the redistribution of land from affluent landowners and the Roman state to less wealthy citizens.

Prior to his political career, he had also fought in the Roman army, serving in the Third Punic War and in Spain.

Size: 80 x 60 x 30 cm. Weight 20kg.
