Ammonites were relatives of squids and nautili which thrived in the seas doing the time of the dinosaurs. Their name originates from the Greek ram-horned god Ammon.

This is a beautiful ammonite, both halves are included, cut and polished, and complete with beautiful handmade brass display stands or clear acrylic stands.

The white rubber end protectors may be removed if you wish. 4 are supplied.

This is a big ammonite weighing in at 1510 grams.

Measuring at the widest point approx 20cm and top to bottom approx 16cm.
