This is the actual ammonite you will receive. Both halves.

Ammonites were relatives of squids and nautili which thrived in the seas doing the time of the dinosaurs. Their name originates from the Greek ram-horned god Ammon.

This is a beautiful ammonite, both halves are included, cut and polished, and complete with beautiful handmade brass display stands.

The white rubber end protectors may be removed if you wish. 4 are supplied.

This is a large ammonite weighing in at 1386 grams (ammonites only not including stand weight)

Measuring at the widest point approx 19cm and top to bottom approx 16cm.

The cute little ceramic fruit items on the brass stand bases may vary depending on what is in stock when you purchase.
