Marble Bust Of Julius Caesar, Roman Emperor.

Gaius Julius Caesar, born on 12 July 100 BC and died on 15 March 44 BC, was a prominent Roman general and statesman. As a member of the First Triumvirate, he commanded the Roman armies during the Gallic Wars and emerged victorious over his political rival Pompey in a civil war. Consequently, he held the position of dictator from 49 BC until his assassination in 44 BC. Caesar played a pivotal role in the events that led to the downfall of the Roman Republic and the ascent of the Roman Empire.
