Marble Bust Of Lucius Verus, Roman Emperor. 130-169 AD.

Lucius Aurelius Verus, born on 15 December 130 and passed away in January/February 169, held the title of Roman emperor from 161 until his demise in 169. He shared the throne with his adoptive brother, Marcus Aurelius, and was a member of the Nerva-Antonine dynasty. Their joint rule marked the first instance in Roman history when the Empire was governed by multiple emperors concurrently, a trend that became more frequent in later periods of the Empire.
